Love AMS and the people who helped me there. Very sad when I got a return email asking about a re-tune after ordering more AMS parts and was emailed with no explanation that they won’t support my vehicle in the future. I have been a good customer and have had thousands of dollars of work done there. I’m devastated because I had a lot of plans to build my dream car there and halfway thru they refused my money and business. Never have I ever said anything bad about AMS and honestly I think they are the best in the game… I just don’t understand why.
My experience at AMS was amazing, I brought my Q50 in to get a ECU calibration. Josh made me feel comfortable by continuously giving me updates on the car while I waited at the shop and went as far as buying me lunch. There were some problems on the car during the dyno run but Josh got it sorted out and got me out of there in one day, the car made some decent numbers, and got I some free merch too. Highly recommend when it comes to anything performance.
Needed a catless testpipe for my evo in which they have. Also they are getting harder and harder to come by. Purchased it and as it’s processing they make you do a waiver stating and proving that your car is built for racing. Otherwise they will not sell to you. And to me, that’s just ridiculous. You shouldn’t have to have a full blown race car to buy a $250 pipe. My county also doesn’t have emissions so it wouldn’t cause any problems as I stated in the waiver that I did fill out. Obviously doesn’t matter though. Can say i’ll never recommend or look AMS’s way unless a solution can be found.
First and foremost, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise that Josh DeMore brought to the table. From the moment I dropped off my car, they took the time to carefully listen to my plans for the vehicle.
Josh was able to provide information on the tune and adjustments to optimize the performance of my 2018 Q50 RS. The result was a noticeable improvement in acceleration, handling, and overall power.
In addition to their technical expertise, I also appreciated the excellent customer service that Josh provided. Josh was always quick to respond to my questions and provided regular updates throughout the tuning process.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work that AMS did on my car. Definitely where it’s at when it comes to the getting work done on your Q50/Q60. Some Infiniti dealers will even honor the warranty if the work is done at AMS. Brandon and Niko did a great job helping me through the process. Kudos to the rest of the AMS team. The car is stupendous.
